After hiking to the top of the sand dunes it was evident to me that sunset would be gorgeous. With passing storms and soft clouds it was only time until the light stole the scene. I waited until the sun was “kissing” the horizon and created a nice flare along the San Juan Mountains in the West. I was glad to capture this simplistic but vast scene.
