The sun creating a spotlight on a Great Blue Heron. Taken in the early morning after golden hour I was kayaking through a swamp and came across this scene when I went around a bend of Cyprus. To have light this perfect was baffling to me and the second I took the photo I knew it would be one of my favorites ever. Having the light on the tree along was enough, but add in a Great Blue Heron and I can’t fathom being this lucky again. The patience is always worth it!
