A Great Egret standing tall on a small piece of land in the swamp and looking over all the water and the golden hour light. I had follow this Great Egret around the swamp for some time. I eventually made it past a large Cyprus tree and saw them resting in that spot. As the kayak coasted by I quickly snapped a few photos before they flew away and paddled away to the next area I wanted to explore.
