A Big Horn Sheep comes over the crest of a cliff with a mean look. This Big Horn Sheep was getting ready to defend it’s status of the dominant Ewe. After capturing this Big Horn coming up on me unexpectedly I moved to spot that was safe and watched from a distance. What captivates me about this shot is the stare and lowered head of the Big Horn Sheep. You can tell he was focused and giving his best “blue-steel”.
