Walking down a beach on the coast of Oregon I was watching some turkey vultures fight amongst a washed up sea lion. I started to think about leaving and then did one last scan of the scene and my eye tripped over this Juvenile Bald Eagle. The Bald Eagle was just watching over the feast and after I captured this image they flew away. It felt like a very heroic scene to capture. From the pose of the Eagle to the driftwood log perch and the soft colorful grass and sky. All created for a simple scene amongst the chaos going on behind me.
