Two bull elk clash during the rut in Rocky Mountain National Park. You can see the determination in the elks eyes to be the victor in this friendly fight. The one on the left was holding on then eventually pushed back for a minute then started to regain ground. They eventually started to graze and settle in for the night. The opportunity to photograph this duel was incredible and its soft brown hues will look good on any surface.
